Touristic license
If you’re planning to rent out your property for tourism purposes in Costa Blanca, it’s important to know that you need to obtain a tourist license from the Valencian region. However, if you already have a tourist license, you can skip this part.
For those who don’t have a license yet, before applying for a tourist license, you will need to obtain a compatibility code, known as “CSV del informe favorable de compatibilidad urbanística municipal.” To get this code, you’ll need to apply for a certificate called “Certificado/informe de compatibilidad urbanística”. This certificate confirms that your property meets the requirements for tourism housing.
Preparation
It’s important to note that each municipality has its own procedures for transmitting the compatibility certificate. If you need assistance with this process, we’re happy to help. Our fee for this service is €275 +iva, and we also handle the application for the tourist license that comes after.
Once you have obtained your tourist license, it’s mandatory by law to create a guest register with the local police. If you prefer, we can also take care of this step for you once you have received your tourist license number.
By following these steps and obtaining the necessary licenses and certificates, you can legally rent out your property for tourism purposes in Costa Blanca.
